HIGHLIGHTS: Permian vs. Amarillo Tascosa

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Permian Panthers continue their undefeated streak this season as they beat the Tascosa Rebels 50-48 in a back-and-forth battle. The Panthers trailed at halftime 35-28 and came out of half giving up a score to make it 42-28. Then, after two Gavin Black touchdowns MOJO would stay on the gas.

Black carried the ball 32 times for 256 yards and four touchdowns in the Panther's big win. They would rush for 308 yards to the Rebels 327 yards. In the time of possession category, the Panthers would nearly triple the Rebels holding the ball for almost 33 minutes, to the Rebels' nearly 12 minutes.

Next week the Panthers take on the Carver Birmingham Rams from Birmingham, Alabama. That game is Friday at 7 p.m. at Ratliff Stadium.
