AN amusement park that's more than a century old is welcoming an interactive family ride that mimics flying.

The longstanding tourist attraction also boasts roller coasters, a water park, rides for all ages, and games.

Seabreeze Amusement Park , located in Irondequoit, New York, a suburb of Rochester, has been around since 1879.

The fourth-oldest operating amusement park in the US has over 70 attractions for families to enjoy.

According to the park, the breeze from Lake Ontario can be felt throughout the area.

It is now welcoming a brand new interactive ride called the Windstarz.

WHAT TO DO?

Seabreeze is home to a mammoth of a water park, including slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool.

Its Vortex is recommended for those who are serious about their waterslides, according to the park.

It's an enclosed slide that requires a tube to plunge down a series of curves and spirals.

Riders are then dropped off into a four-foot swimming pool.

There are also kiddie slides for little ones to safely enjoy the water park.

WHAT'S NEW?

The theme park is welcoming a brand new ride, called the Windstarz.

It's an interactive experience with a similarity to hand-gliding.

The attraction lives up to its name, allowing riders to control how much wind they feel using the levers.

It is also open for the entire family, depending on height requirements.
