Honor Flight to hold parade on Saturday at Evansville Region Airport

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Honor Flight of Southern Indiana is holding its Welcome Home Parade on Saturday.
This year marks 10 years for Southern Indiana's Honor Flight.
This program allows veterans to visit national monuments in DC and honor the legacy of their service.
On Saturday, October 5, the public is invited to the Evansville Regional Airport where people will get the chance to welcome the veterans home and thank them for their service.
The plane is expected to arrive at the airport around 8 p.m. and the parade will start at 8:40 p.m.
