Hope Church to hold blood drive for hurricane victims

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - Hope Church is hosting a blood drive for hospitals in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The church will host the Red Cross on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The blood donated will be sent to Florida and other states experiencing flooding and weather damage.

Hope Church Lead Pastor Anthony Miller says he thanks the community's support.

"I'm honored that we have a faith community here that supports the efforts here to be an asset to the Iron Mountain area, spreading hope, instilling value and virtue," Miller said. "It's incredibly humbling to be a part of this."

Walk-ins are accepted after registered donors.
