Houston coach DeMeco Ryans is proud of his team for getting the win over Jacksonville
DeMeco Ryans spoke to the media after the game about how tough his team is and the connection between C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins.
On the Texans overall toughness
DeMeco: The goal for us every week is to win. There's no such thing as an ugly win to me. As we know this league, wins are hard to come by. It doesn't matter who you play. I'm just proud to get a win. It doesn't matter to me how we win them, just finish with the win.
On the connection between WR Nico Collins and QB C.J. Stroud
DeMeco: I know you don't like this answer, but it's simple, Nico [Collins] is open. That's why the connection is strong. Nico, he's open, but he's also so competitive at the catch point. He's a strong, physical, fast, and big receiver. That's an easy target for C.J. [Stroud] and Nico has showed up every time that we needed him.
