How Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively are Taking Over the New Heights Podcast
Ryan ReynoldsBlake Lively have been hanging out alot with Travis Kelce lately — and also indirectly participating in his and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast.
On a Wednesday, October 16 episode of "New Heights," Reynolds, 47, does a hilarious ad reading for Mint Mobile that has both Travis, 35, and Jason, 36, laughing.
"Hey Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. If you can hear my voice, it most likely means that you're a football fan or a 30-something year old woman," the Deadpool actor joked. "This podcast deal has an insane crossover that I'm not sure I totally understand but I think it's great."
Reynolds then goes on to say that as a "fan of football," he loves watching a "player run the whole 110 yards" and then scoring a touchdown.
"Hold on, my producers are trying to get my attention. What? OK, apparently this podcast is about American football not the superior sport of Canadian football," he explained before going into a more straightforward ad about how Mint Mobile is $15 a month.
Following his ad, Travis noted that Reynolds is "literally the greatest."
"That was pretty sweet though. How about that? We get a little Blake Lively in the bonus video and we got Ryan in the ads, what else can you ask for?" Travis gushed.
On last week's episode of "New Heights," Travis and Jason revealed that they would be watching Lively's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants — and doing a full film review.
"You will also hear an agonizing review about a movie about pants and sisterhood. Two of my least favorite things," Jason joked. "I got a bunch of daughters, I guess I'm warming up to sisterhood."
While Jason may not be thrilled to watch the 2005 movie, Travis shared that he was "excited" for it even if he doesn't know what it's about.
"It has Blake Lively in it and she's cool," he explained. "Watching films with people I met and I know."
Travis has been spotted hanging out with Lively and Reynolds on many occasions since he started dating Taylor Swift in September 2023. Last Friday, on October 11, Swift, 35, and Travis stepped out for a date night with Reynolds and Lively.
The two famous couples were filmed by fans as they made their way into The Corner Store, a restaurant in the New York City neighborhood of SoHo.
Following their dinner, Travis recapped what it's been like to hang out with huge Hollywood stars since dating Swift.
"At this point, it's just, you can't fathom what's going on," he shared on "New Heights" on Wednesday. "So it's just like a dream. You're not surprised by like, the next thing that comes into your life or the next person that walks into the door. Yeah, it's crazy. It's insane. I don't know how I got to live this silly life, man, but I am. I'm definitely fortunate for it, for sure."
