How to watch Texas football vs. Louisiana-Monroe: Start time, TV channel and more

S.Ramirez1 hr ago
Before you say the University of Texas hosting Louisiana-Monroe Saturday night is going to be a snoozer, consider who the Longhorns' quarterback will be.

Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian on Thursday morning announced that redshirt freshman Arch Manning will get his first career start in place of the injured Quinn Ewers (strained oblique).

Manning is, of course, the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning , and the grandson of Archie Manning. Aside from the family ties, Arch Manning was one of the highest-rated recruits ever coming out of Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, so while this matchup may be a snooze on paper, it is guaranteed to be a moment in time if you're a Texas fan, or even just a college football fan.
