Huntsville Fire & Rescue crews respond to apartment fire

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Huntsville Fire and Rescue (HFR) crews responded to an apartment fire early Sunday morning.

HFR officials said that the fire took place at the Constellation Apartments located at 740 Constellation Place Drive around 5:33 a.m.

According to officials, a small outside fire started in the courtyard area and made its way to an HVAC chase.

Officials told News 19 that two apartment buildings were affected with smoke and that crews are in the process of removing the smoke at this time.

HFR said that no one was injured or displaced.
