I-40 East near White Bridge Pike down to one lane after vehicle overturns
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – I-40 East near White Bridge Pike in West Nashville is down to one lane as authorities work to clear a crash involving an overturned vehicle.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said the crash was reported at around 7:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4, on I-40 East near mile marker 203.6.

All eastbound lanes of I-40 were closed for several minutes as authorities worked to clear the crash. As of 8 p.m. the interstate is down to one lane.
A diversion has been set up at Exit 201A as of 7:35 p.m., per TDOT.
Metro Dispatch stated that the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is at the scene. They added that the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) transported multiple people to area hospitals, though they could not provide any information on their condition.
