Injury Update: Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy ruled out

As the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins face off at Lumen Field in Week 3, Seattle will play the second half without two of its biggest names on the defensive line.

During the first half both Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy left the game with injuries, though the team announced that each was questionable to return. However, coming out of the half the Seahawks ruled both out for the remainder of the game.

The Seattle defensive front was already short handed coming into the game, with starters Uchenna Nwosu and Jerome Baker out with injuries. This means the Seahawks will play the second half of the game without four of the top players in the defensive front, and could make things easier for Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson.

The inexperienced Thompson has struggled so far in the game, completing 11 of 17 pass attempts for just 85 yards while taking five sacks.
