This week's dispatchBusiness-class kids Although the peak of summer travel has passed, there are still plenty of families taking advantage of better deals and smaller crowds for last-minute trips. For some, that might mean flying business class — and bringing their kiddos along, too .

Sara Arbelaez-Chujfi told Business Insider reporter Maria Noyen earlier this year that her 2-year-old had already flown 80 times , half in business class.

Arbelaez-Chujfi said there's more personalized attention in business class, from flight attendants babysitting her daughter when she has to use the restroom to holding the bathroom door open when she needs extra space to change her daughter.

The extra attention, however, comes at an extra cost. According to travel company Going, the price of a single business class ticket typically ranges from $3,000 to $5,000. Now multiply that by all the kids in your family, and you're looking at quite the splurge.

Still, some have managed to score more affordable business class flights in a few ways, including bidding on upgraded seats or using points. That's what Jill Robbins did when trekking from San Antonio, Texas to Tel Aviv, Israel with her 13-year-old son.

Whether you splurge or find a deal, you shouldn't feel out of place bringing the kids along. Flight attendants told BI they don't mind having children in business class and will provide hands-on service regardless of the passengers' age.

"In business class, we have a lot less people to cater to and you are paying for more of an experience. So that's what we give," one American Airlines flight attendant said.

Fall fashion must-haves Was that a chill in the air?

September is upon us, which means it's time to transition to cooler-weather wardrobes. This year, fall fashion is about comfort, style, and luxury. The season's biggest status symbols include an $850 suede coat and a pair of $168 men's clogs, which you can don as you crunch leaves beneath your feet and sip that Pumpkin Spice Latte.

    The season's seven status symbols.

Widely considered one of Tulum's top resorts — it even has a perfect score on Tripadvisor — La Valise feels like stepping into a dream. Two nights at the boutique resort prove that tranquility is a luxury all its own.
