Best Quality Daughter has been one of San Antonio's best restaurants since it opened at the Pearl in 2020. Founder and chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin has already racked up a couple of James Beard Foundation Award nominations for her work with the restaurant, and now, her most recent collab with Taco Bell is dropping in a very exclusive release.

In February, Dobbertin joined Taco Bell's TBX program , a partnership that allows chefs to experiment with some of the fast food company's staple offerings. Over the last eight months, the San Antonio chef has been hard at work in the Taco Bell test kitchen, creating her very own version of the Crunchwrap Supreme.

Dobbertin's Taco Bell creation, dubbed the Crispy Thai Noodle Crunchwrap Supreme, features marinated grilled chicken with a khao soi aioli, a crunchy wheat noodle nest, cool reduced fat sour cream, fresh onions and cilantro and an avocado basil ranch, according to a new release from the company.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to take a flight out of San Antonio International Airport to get a taste. The Crispy Thai Noodle Crunchwrap Supreme will not be available in San Antonio, as it will debut alongside other chefs' takes on the Taco Bell menu item in New York City as part of a testing process.

"Taco Bell is always on the lookout to bring innovative food to fans across the nation and this initial test will help inform future availability of the TBX Crunchwrap Supremes in 2025," the news release said.
