HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The morning is cold, but it’ll be fairly decent by this afternoon. We’ll see plenty of sunshine through the day as temperatures rise to between the lower 50s northeast to the lower 60s southwest. Winds will pick up a little out of the south at 5 to 15 mph with some gusts a little over 20 mph. Overnight, winds will remain slightly breezy and there will be an increase in clouds. This will keep temperatures a bit warmer tonight. Lows will be in the upper 20s out west and in the 30s elsewhere. While there will be some clouds around tomorrow, they will clear from west to east through the day. They will remain the thickest and the longest over Eastern Nebraska. There could even be some sprinkles or very light rain east of the Tri-Cities late morning and into the afternoon. The biggest story will be strong south winds, which could gust over 30 mph. Those winds will be a bit lighter out west. Highs will range from the mid 50s east to the lower 60s west. Winds will remain breezy Saturday night with clear skies. This should keep temperatures up again overnight with lows from the upper 20s west to the upper 30s east.

Most of next week will be quite mild with cooler (not cold) temperatures coming at the end of the week. No moisture is anticipated at this time. Highs will mostly be in the 60s and lower 70s. Most nights will remain above freezing for most.
