Jason Kelce Takes a Break from Broadcasting Duties to Hug Taylor Swift and Her Mom Andrea at Chiefs Game

Jason Kelce is spreading the love!

The Monday Night Countdown analyst took time away from the booth during the Kansas City Chiefs-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game to share a hug with Taylor Swift and her mom Andrea on Monday, Nov. 4.

In clips from the moment shared on social media , Kelce, who turns 37 on Tuesday, can be seen wrapping his arms around his brother Travis Kelce 's girlfriend, and then going in for an embrace with the pop superstar's mother.

The sweet reunion came shortly after the retired NFL star spoke out at the top of Countdown about a more unpleasant event which happened over the weekend.

"I'm not happy with anything that took place. I'm not proud of it," Kelce said about his interaction with a fan who called his brother Travis a homophobic slur at the Ohio State-Penn State game. "Within a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate and I don't think that's a productive thing. I don't think it leads to discourse."

He continued, "In that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn't have. Bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rules. That's what I've always been taught. I try to treat people with decency and respect. I'm going to keep doing that moving forward."

Since retiring from the league after last season, Kelce has been showing up to support his brother — and Swift.

Jason and his wife Kylie have attended multiple Eras Tour concerts, most recently in Miami last month. Travis and Jason's mother Donna Kelce was also in attendance, which marked her first-ever Eras Tour show .
