Johnson runs past Roselle - Football recap

The man with two first names, Ryan George, ran for two touchdowns in Johnson's 35-8 win over Roselle in Clark.

George opened the scoring with a 25-yard touchdown in the first quarter, and he later added another 4-yarder in the third to make it 28-0 at the time.

Robert Gallagher (40-yard run), Anthony Ayer (11-yard run) and Joshua Maltez-Torres (33-yard run) all found the end zone on the night as well.

Gallagher finished with a team-high 118 yards on the ground on nine carries, Maltez-Torres had 89 yards on six attempts and George ended with 75 yards on 13 carries.

Defensively, Xander Cistaro had a sack and three tackles, while Gallagher posted seven tops and George and Nic Carlucci both had five.

George converted 2-of-3 extra points as well for the outstanding all-around effort.

Roselle (0-4) got on the scoreboard with a 10-yard touchdown pass in the third.
