Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby told reporters that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain after a 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Crosby logged three tackles and a pass defensed for the Raiders. The star defender said he sustained the injury on the second-to-last play in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Crosby, who played 82% (61 of 74) of the defensive snaps against the Panthers, said the injury "didn't get any worse."

"It's just part of the game," Crosby said "Every time we go out there, I want to try to be out there with my teammates. If I'm 100% or 50%, it doesn't affect if I'm going to go out there."

Raiders offensive tackle Thayer Munford Jr. and safety Marcus Epps were injured and did not return. Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen sustained a hamstring injury in the second quarter and did not return. He totaled three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson sustained a rib injury in the third quarter. He was replaced by Tim Boyle. Thompson, who started in place of Tua Tagovailoa, completed 13 of 19 passes for 107 yards.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Thompson's injury "was pretty painful" and he will be evaluated Monday.

"Half the pain or half of the frustration for him, I think, was he was trying to find a way to not come out of the game," McDaniel said. "And ultimately, it was pretty painful. He fought through it, but we'll get a chance to look at him [Monday]."

Offensive tackle Terron Armstead (eye), linebacker David Long Jr. (hamstring) and cornerbacks Kendall Fuller (concussion) and Storm Duck (shoulder) were among the other Dolphins players injured.

Darnold completed 17 of 18 passes for 181 yards and four touchdowns. Jefferson caught six passes for 81 yards and a score. Vikings coach Kevin Stefanski said Darnold "got rolled up" on, but got checked out before his return. He will undergo further evaluation this week.
