$10K richer: Ohio Lottery player wins on scratch-off sold in Sheffield Lake

SHEFFIELD LAKE , Ohio (WJW) – One Northeast Ohio lottery player is $10,000 richer after playing the Ohio Lottery 's 50th Anniversary scratch-off.

According to a press release from the Ohio Lottery , the winning ticket was purchased at Brownies Market located at 5260 East Lake Road in Sheffield Lake.

After mandatory state and federal taxes, the lottery winner will take home about $7,200, according to the release.

The 50th Anniversary game is a $50 scratch-off that has a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of September 27, there are two top prizes remaining in the game, according to the release.
