Kathryn "Kathy" Chiarello, a beacon of resilience and joy, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Dementia. Born on December 18, 1950, Kathy lived a life defined by her unwavering spirit and infectious laughter.

Known for her stubbornness in all the right ways, Kathy possessed an unyielding determination that inspired those around her. Her sharp wit and sense of humor would always delight and uplift us, even in the most challenging moments. She faced life's hurdles with grace and incredible resilience.

Kathy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Chiarello Jr., her parents, Frank and Millie (Kenning). She is survived by her loving sons, David Chiarello III (Marilyn) and Nick Chiarello (Mari), grandsons, Ellis and Leon and brother in law, Ron McLaughlin. Her memory will be held dear by countless friends.

Kathy's legacy is one of love, laughter, friendship, and an indomitable spirit. She taught us to embrace life fully, remain steadfast in our beliefs, and find humor wherever possible. Her life was truly well-lived.

A celebration of life will be held on November 22 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Pier B Resort on Duluth's waterfront. Family will make remarks at 1:00 pm. Food and drinks will be served. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Bike the US for MS or Breck Homes Residential Care for Elders.
