Make room on your fall mood boards: Katie Holmes just served up some more seasonal outfit inspo.

On Sept. 23, the actress, 45, was spotted on a stroll down a flower-lined walkway in New York City in an outfit reminiscent of her Dawson's Creek character Joey Potter's girl-next-door style.

Holmes embraced the unseasonably chilly weather in a light green quilted puffer jacket with olive seams and a button placket, as well as a pink fuzzy collar. She wore the coat over a white shirt with a pair of dark-wash, wide-leg jeans and simple white sneakers.

She also carried a customized accessory — a Lands' End medium five-pocket canvas tote bag in the color Heritage Red. The double-handle $35 bag features her initials, KH, on the front.

The style star also had a drink tumbler in hand. When it came to glam, she kept her casual-yet cool vibes going by wearing her long hair down and tucked behind her ears. She also stuck to her signature natural makeup look.

Holmes kicked off fall-inspired dressing early this year.

In late August, the star graced the N.Y.C. streets in a floral mock neck blouse , some relaxed black jeans, a pair of kitten heel mules and a black purse.

While promoting the Broadway revival of Our Town (in which she's currently playing Mrs. Webb) on Sept. 15, Holmes wore a camel-colored cropped button-up sweater, straight-leg jeans, and a pair of pointed-toe ballet flats. Over top, wore the single-breasted camel fur Fauvette Petra Blazer , which retails for $2,100.
