KOIN 6 and City Club of Portland’s Oregon Attorney General debate: What to know about the rules

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Wednesday night is Debate Night for Oregon's Attorney General race on KOIN 6.
Democrat Dan Rayfield and Republican Will Lathrop are looking to replace outgoing Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum.
The debate will be moderated by KOIN 6 Political Director Ken Boddie.
Each candidate will get a one-minute opening statement, and with questions, each candidate will get one minute to respond.
If a follow-up or a rebuttal is needed, each candidate will get 30 seconds.
At the end of the debate, each candidate will get a one-minute closing statement. There will be no rebuttals.
The debate airs at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and will last an hour.
