Kris Jenner says she will have ovaries removed after doctors found tumor

Kris Jenner announced she plans to have surgery after doctors found a tumor on one of her ovaries.

The 68-year-old reality star matriarch shared the news during Thursday's episode of " ." A scene shows her vacationing in Aspen with her daughters Kim, Khloé and Kendall, and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

"I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn't told you yet. You know, I went to the doctor and I had my scan. They found - and this just makes me really emotional, but - they found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary," Jenner says, fighting tears. "I'm just really emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys.

She then tells her loved ones doctors advised her to have her ovaries taken out and she will have them removed.

"That's where all my kids were conceived and that's where they were grown - in my tummy - and so, this (is a) very sacred place to me," she adds during a confessional.

Kourtney FaceTimes Khloé, with Jenner updating her oldest daughter. Her daughters express concern for their mother.

"I couldn't even imagine being in that situation and how you would feel really scared to be going through that," Kim says."

Jenner says she is ready because she loves her doctor. But she also admitted she is nervous.

"Listen, if I can get through the hip replacement, I can get through this," Jenner said. "I'm not nervous to be put to sleep. I'm not nervous with Dr. A. - she's the best doctor in the world. But then you go to do it and you're like - it's so real."

She added that she feels as if it is a sign of getting older.

"It's a whole chapter that's just closed," she said.

Kendall says she understands that her mother is upset, but pointed out she doesn't need her ovaries.

"What are we going to use those for anymore?" Kendall says. "If they are potentially hurting you, let's get them out of there."

They also joke around with Kim saying, "Should we have a farewell ovary party?"

In all seriousness, Jenner says pregnancy was her "most beautiful experience" in life. She says she knows she is "going to be fine" because she has her children.

"People often ask me what is the best job I've ever had, and I've always said: Mom," she says. "The biggest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful kids."
