Kyle Richards' daughter Alexia Umansky, 28, gets engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jake Zingerman

Kyle Richards ' family is about to grow by one member as her daughter Alexia Umansky is engaged.

The Buying Beverly Hills star , 28, has been dating Jake Zingerman for five years.

The daughter of Mauricio Umansky shared the happy news in a series of snaps and videos on her Instagram Stories.

In one photo, the ebullient couple held bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne and popped the corks as she showed off her engagement ring.

One image was captioned while another was simply said, 'FOREVER.'

Madison Buffardi, Alexia's co-worker at her father's real estate firm The Agency, also shared a snap from the proposal and captioned it, 'My favorite people! So happy for you two!!'

Alexia's parents and sisters, Farrah, 36, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, have not yet commented on her engagement publicly.

The engagement wasn't a huge shock given the length of their relationship and the fact that Alexia and Jake have been living together since February.

In March, the reality TV star reflected on her relationship in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

'I have no regrets and my relationship is amazing, and, you know, whatever happens in the future is what happens. Everything that we're going through is human, and, obviously, I hope for the best,' she told the outlet.

'I'm just going to take that day by day, as well, and I'm excited for people to get to know Jake a little bit better,' she added about her relationship playing out in front of cameras.

In the same interview Mauricio weighed in on his thoughts on his daughter's beau.

'We love Jake,' Mauricio enthusiastically offered. 'He's awesome.'

Mom Kyle is also a big fan of Jake as she said in an Amazon Live interview in July.

She hinted that she suspected an engagement for her middle child could be coming soon

'She's not [getting engaged] yet but I do think that's going to happen. I really do,' Richards said.

'They've been dating for four years, almost five years now. They are a very, very, very cute couple and they're great together. And we just love him so much,' she added, singing Jake's praises.
