LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The City of Laredo will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday evening, November 7, to update residents on efforts to improve the city's water system and ensure clean water for everyone. The meeting will take place at the Haynes Recreation Center, located at 2102 Clarks Crossing Dr., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. City officials, including Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño, will talk about ongoing projects and plans to prevent future boil water notices. "We're dealing with an issue that has existed for a long time," said Dr. Treviño. "It's not something that just happened today. People need to realize that we are addressing the problem head-on and working on solutions." Residents are invited to attend to learn more about the city's plans and ask questions about the water system improvements. For more headlines, click here .
