Las Cruces Recovery Center opens, offers new hope for substance, mental health care

The Las Cruces Recovery Center, a new 54-bed facility offering comprehensive, evidence-based care to adults living with substance use and mental health conditions announced its opening.

Las Cruces Recovery will offer a comprehensive range of services, including detoxification, residential treatment, and structured outpatient programs in a highly supportive, therapeutic and nurturing environment.

"Las Cruces is excited to have a facility like this. This is something that has been a big need here. Here it will be specifically detox and recovery. We accept Medicaid and some commercial out-of-network plans," said Duran.

Duran said a second facility is still under construction.

There are currently 30 beds available right now but once the second facility opens it will be a total of 54 beds.
