Letter: Election results

I think I have an interesting take on the resounding defeat of the left.

We know the left like to divide us into groups (identity politics) and will pit one group against another. We also know one of the main reasons for their open-border policy is the intent to bring in aliens with the thought they'll support the liberal agenda (although many come here to get away from liberal agendas). The liberals also like to say we're a country of emigrants, which of course we are. But that was their big mistake. They don't understand the spirit of America. America is a melting pot of emigrants. We make up America. We're not blacks, not Latinos, not gays, not women, not toxic white men, not tribes, we're Americans! When you screw with Americans, we fight back. The left has been screwing us for years but took it to a whole new level the last four. Guess what, we fought back!
