Letter: My fears, my hopes
With the election of Donald Trump, I have fears and hopes for the future. My fears originate from what Trump has already told us what he would do if elected.
I am fearful for women's reproductive rights, immigrants (legal and illegal), the LGBTQ community, the 50 million people on "Obamacare," Ukraine and finally another massive tax cut for the rich on the shoulders of the poor, middle class, elderly and the handicapped.
I am fearful that Americans will go about their daily lives ignoring what is about to happen. Worst of all, I fear Trump is a reflection of the American people.
I am hopeful that Americans pay attention to what Trump does during the next four years. I am hopeful that I am wrong. My biggest fear is that I am right.
