Lubbock City Council to canvass Municipal Election votes Thursday

LUBBOCK, Texas (News Release) - The Lubbock City Council will convene in a Special City Council Meeting on Thursday, November 14, at 11:30 a.m. to officially canvass the votes from the November 5 special municipal elections.

The meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers in Citizens Tower, located at 1314 Avenue K.

The Lubbock City Council will vote to accept the election return for the 2024 Street Bond totaling $103.4 million for street improvements, and the annexation of the Highland Oaks subdivision.

The meeting is open for the public to attend in person, or can be viewed remotely on Optimum Channel 2 or at //mylubbock.us/video .
