Letter: Younger voters should think for themselves

I find it sad and concerning that the younger generation are so totally influenced and controlled by a popular music star. That Taylor Swift posted her support of Harris/Walz after the Sept. 10 debate and encouraged fans to register to vote. Like sheep, over 300,000 registered. This tells me that they are easily influenced and are incapable of having their own thoughts and opinions.

How many actually watched the debate, and how many have bothered to check into each candidate's plans? Do they even know that Gov. Walz has been issued a subpeona for mismanagement of funds resulting in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme? The Biden-Harris administration and the Walz administration oversaw the exploitation of $250 million in child nutrition program funds. Not to mention Walz let Minneapolis burn during the riots while Harris encouraged people to donated to the MFF (Minnesota Freedom Fund) to bail out the looters and rioters!

It's unsettling to think that the future of our country is being decided by uninformed, easily controlled and impulsive individuals. Pray for us all!
