Lincoln teacher investigated for alleged inaoppropriate behavior

(FOX40.COM) — A district staff member with the Western Placer Unified School District in Lincoln has been placed on leave after alleged inappropriate behavior on social media involving the employee surfaced.

According to a press release from the district, the employee was placed on paid administrative leave while the district and the Lincoln Police Department investigated what occurred.

"We do not condone inappropriate behavior from any adult in our community, and when serious concerns arise, we act swiftly," district superintendent Kerry Callahan wrote in the release.

Callahan said the district is following standard protocol and is limiting what information they are disclosing as the investigation is ongoing.

The staff member was told by district staff to not have contact with any students during the investigation.
