OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Here are the headlines we're bringing to you first on Friday, Nov. 8:

In a news conference Thursday, video was released of deputies responding to the home of Rebecca Geiger , the Omaha Westside teacher that was found dead late October. Geiger is believed to have died before deputies arrived to the scene for a domestic violence call between her and her husband, Rory. In a call from their daughter, she said that her father shot her mother and that he had a gun pointed at her.

Omaha Police are investigating a domestic violence incident Wednesday that left a man badly hurt and a woman in the hospital. Officers believe that the woman may have been held against her will in the closet in a home near South 43rd and Frances St . When they arrived to the scene, OPD heard gunfire and a woman "physically fighting in the building." They immediately opened the closet door and fired their guns.
