Livid Fans Gang Up on Notorious Corey LaJoie Amid Joey Logano’s Bristol Misstep

N.Thompson1 hr ago
It had to be Corey LaJoie. After causing a massive wreck in the opening lap of the 2024 Go Bowling at The Glen, the Spire Motorsports driver was at it again. Only this time, Joey Logano was at the receiving end, spinning off Turn 4 and hitting the inside wall. Apart from a flat tire, his No. 22 Ford Mustang seemed to be in pretty rough shape after the left rear of his car made contact with LaJoie's No. 7 Chevy, forcing a caution while the Team Penske driver went into the pit lane.

Joey Logano has already qualified for the Round of 12 after winning the opening playoff race of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The 34-year-old will be relieved to be locked into the next postseason stage, given that the incident with LaJoie has hampered his chances of securing a race win at Bristol Motor Speedway.

As for the Spire Motorsports driver, it will be his last race for the team before he moves to Rick Ware Racing for the remainder of the season. The two teams have swapped their drivers for the remaining playoff races, with Justin Haley moving to Jeff Dickerson's team, before his full-time move to Spire Motorsports in 2025.
