WILKES-BARRE – Mayor Thomas M. Leighton will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon today to mark the opening of the new offices of Edward Jones Investment on Public Square. An open house will also be held between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The public and press are invited to attend.
HANOVER TWP. – Financial Aid Night at Hanover Area has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday in the high school auditorium.
Featured speaker will be Stacey Zelinka, director of financial aid at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. State, federal, college loan and private opportunities for aid will be discussed. Current seniors and juniors, along with their parents, are urged to attend.
KINGSTON – The Wyoming Valley West School Board will hold the February board meeting for general purposes on Wednesday at the Chester Street Middle School. The work session will be at 7 p.m. followed by the board meeting.
