Local election results arrive

JACKSON, Wyo. — Results from Tuesday's general election trickled in at the County Administration Building after voting wrapped up at 7 p.m. in Teton County.

Arne Jorgensen was elected Mayor. Kevin Regan and Devon Viehman will serve on Town Council. Len Carlman and Natalia D. Macker won the County Commission race.

The Specific Purpose Excise Tax (SPET) proposal for a new Justice Center passed by a sliver, just 25 votes.

Teton County Maureen Murphy told gathered reporters that approximately 4,500 county residents voted on Election Day, and about 8,600 voted early/absentee.
