After a week full of big high school football matchups in Louisiana, there's been some serious shakeup in the updated rankings.

The top two teams — Ruston and Acadiana — remain the same. But two teams have enter the state's top five, and three more are new entrants to the rankings altogether. Ahead of what should be another exciting weekend of football, here are the latest top-25 rankings courtesy of the On3 Massey Ratings:

On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

Previous: No. 1 The Bearcats obliterated previously undefeated Stephenville (Texas) in one of the most impressive win by any team in the state this season. Ruston was only favored by 7 points by the On3 Massey Ratings but dominated from start to finish. They'll be back on the road this weekend at Ouachita Parish before big ones against No. 4 Neville and No. 6 Alexandria.

Previous: No. 2 Acadiana has now allowed just seven total points across the last three games after shutting out Sulphur 45-0 on Friday night. The Rams are favored heavily in every game the rest of the season, starting with a road tilt at Barbe on Friday.

Previous: No. 5 (+2) The Bears made a big move up to the No. 3 spot this week on the heels of a convincing 31-14 win over West Monroe two weeks ago — combined with Archbishop Rummel's loss. They'll face crosstown rival Liberty Magnet this week before a huge showdown against No. 7 Central on October 18.

Previous: No. 4 Neville is the first team to seven wins this season after barely getting out of Sterlington with a 17-10 road win. But the Tigers still stand undefeated ahead of games against 4-2 Pinesville and then No. 1 Ruston in two weeks.

Previous: No. 8 (+3) The Cougars are another big riser this week after a sound 27-7 blowout of No. 16 St. Augustine on the road. Karr now sits at 6-1 despite not having the services of five-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart , and they'll have another tough road test Friday at No. 11 Brother Martin.

Previous: No. 6 Alexandria crushed winless Many 62-7 on Friday night in a game that was over by the end of the first quarter. They now sit 5-0 ahead of a big home game against No. 13 West Monroe.

Previous: No. 9 (+2) The Cougars are 6-0 after squeaking past Lafayette Christian 31-22 on Friday night. They'll host Woodlawn this week before back-to-back top-10 games at Baton Rouge Catholic and home against Zachary.

Previous: No. 7 (-1) After losing a tough one to No. 2 Acadiana last month, the Broncos have reeled off consecutive wins over Carenco and Opelousas to get to 4-1. They'll be heavily favored in their next two games before top-10 matchups against Central and Baton Rouge Catholic to end the regular season.

Previous: No. 3 (-6) The Raiders suffered their first loss of the season to Brother Martin on Friday night, tumbling from No. 3 down to No. 9 in the rankings. They'll have plenty of chances to climb their way back up with games against No. 16 St. Augustine, No. 19 Jesuit and No. 5 Edna Karr to close the season.

Previous: No. 10 The Rebels have done nothing but take care of business this season and are off to a 5-0 start after beating Comeaux 48-13 over the weekend. They will be favored the next three weeks before a big showdown against St. Thomas More on November 1.
