Love Island's Amy Hart gushes about her 'mob wives' inspired wedding as she reveals she nearly fell down the stairs during dream ceremony

Amy Hart has revealed the details of her dream wedding day with new husband Sam Rason, after tying the knot in Spain earlier this month.

The former Love Island star, 32, looked incredible in her 'mob wife, dramatic' gown as she tied the knot with Sam in an outdoor ceremony at the Casa de la Era farm near Malaga.

But as she made her way down the aisle, Amy had to navigate some tricky steps in a floor-length dress and high heels as she was escorted to the altar by her dad Ian - and they both nearly tumbled down.

She told OK! magazine: 'I didn't get emotional walking down the aisle because although I knew I'd have to walk down the amphitheatre steps, I realised that in that dress and in heels, it wouldn't be easy.

'They're not even, and I started laughing at one point because there was one really massive one and my dad said to me, 'Oh, we both nearly went there', so I was really concentrating on where I was walking!'

Amy made it down the aisle to the sounds of 'You're Already There' by Alison Jiear and was able to exchange vows with Sam without tripping.

She said 'I do' in front of her 137 closest friends and family and also had seven bridesmaids and Sam had six groomsmen for the four day extravaganza.

Discussing her stunning gown, Amy admitted it took her forever to find the perfect dress because she has worn a number of glamorous gowns at pageants and red carpets.

She said: 'In the cubicle I wasn't sure. But when I walked out and saw it in the mirror, and then they put the veil on, I knew straight away it was the dress for me. It looked very Spanish, very 'Mob Wives', very dramatic and the craftsmanship was just incredible. It was perfect for me.'

Amy looked sensational in her bridal gown which boasted a plunging neckline with pretty lace sleeves and a full skirt.

The couple - parents to 18-month old son Stanley - are understood to be spending their honeymoon in Las Vegas , but a date for the trip is yet to be confirmed.

Amy, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2019, welcomed Stanley, her only child with with Sam, in March 2023.

Six months later she was stunned when her significant other got down on one knee while she was taking part in a shoot aboard the Excellence-class cruise ship Arvia for her P&O cruises podcast.

Amy was invited into the theatre to watch the rehearsals when Sam surprised her by appearing on stage and getting down on one knee and proposing.

Quoting a lyric from I'll Be Here - a number from obscure 9/11 musical Ordinary Days - avid musical theatre fan Amy announced her engagement with Instagram followers.

She wrote: 'And he said...hey, whatcha doin' the rest of your life? Well and truly the biggest surprise ever We are so happy (literally thought I was watching show rehearsals hence why I have no shoes on).'

In a further update, the happy couple could be seen enjoying glasses of champagne where occasional Loose Women star Amy admitted that she is normally aware of everything that goes on but everything had been set up so that she had no clue.

She said: 'So yeah, fiance! There was no floors being polished, It was so that I didn't run into Sam when he got on the ship, there was no new trailers being set.
