Lubbock County required to do partial manual recount of votes following Tuesday’s election

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock County will be required to manually recount the ballots for several races following Tuesday's election. The Lubbock County Elections Office must hand count the race for president, United States Senate and a randomly selected countywide race chosen by the Texas Secretary of State's Office. The office selected voting Precincts 10, 113 and 92. Early voting, mail-in ballots and any limited or provisional ballots accepted from the early voting period will be recounted. Voting locations to be recounted include Irons Middle School, J.A. Hodges Community Center and Roosevelt ISD Gymnasium. Lubbock County will be drawing three additional voting precincts and three election day locations for the partial manual count.
