Lululemon’s ‘We Made Too Much’ Section Has Our Full Attention This Cyber Monday — Shop 16 Amazing Finds

E.Garcia3 months ago
Take it from a former Lululemon employee: Cyber Monday is one of the best times to shop for loungewear in the We Made Too Much section . Right now, the women’s section alone has hundreds of finds starting at just $9. When I worked there, it was unheard of to ring a customer up for less than double digits.

While I traded my job at Lululemon for a career as a travel writer, I still shop there frequently — and I have so much faith in the brand’s products that I don’t mind paying full price. Fortunately, I don’t have to do that this month. I recently spent hours scrolling through the We Made Too Much section, and let’s just say I have all of my holiday shopping done and my travel wardrobe for 2024 taken care of, Lululemon leggings and Everywhere Belt Bag included.

Without further ado, below are 16 Lulu loungewear finds that went straight into my shopping cart. They start at just $29, and trust me: deals this good won’t last long and colors and sizes are limited. Worried about returns? While Lululemon’s discounted items are all final sale, members enjoy in-store exchanges or store credit ( it’s easy to join and membership is free).

Lululemon Align High-Rise Leggings

That’s right, the iconic Lululemon leggings are included in the We Made Too Much section for Cyber Monday this year, bringing their price tag down as low as $39. The buttery-soft yoga pants are sweat-wicking, breathable, and have four-way stretch. Grab striking colors like raspberry and green while they’re still in stock.

Lululemon Fleece Ripstop Hiking Pullover

Looking back, my favorite sales weren’t the swim cap I sold Robert Downey Jr. or the joggers I sold Owen Wilson (I worked at Lululmeon’s first store in the Hamptons so we had a lot of celebrity clientele). They were the times I helped average shoppers of all ages, shapes, and sizes find “ investment pieces ” that made their confidence soar — pieces like this cozy fleece half zip. It’s not only stylish but also soft as can be, designed to keep you warm and comfy on winter hikes. Features include a contrast ripstop overlay plus kangaroo pocket for stashing your phone and a zippered chest pocket. Grab it for a steal at under $100 this Cyber Monday.

Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag

The Everywhere Belt Bag 2L is the larger version of the incredibly popular accessory that Lululemon has trouble keeping in stock because of its strong following (the fleece version is also on sale). I have it in black and have worn it on my travels all around the world. (I also wear it daily when I’m walking my dog and need to carry his training treats.) It has more than 1,000 five-star ratings including one that reads “I’ve found these crossbody bags perfect for holding my passport, cash, boarding passes, phone, etc. so I don’t have to stop and dig around in my carry-on bag each time I need to present documents. Plus, they’re more secure than a backpack for holding these items as they’re on my front and always in view.”

Lululemon Blissful Women’s Running Shoe

Back when I worked at Lululemon, they didn’t make running shoes — but they were four years in the making and created based on 1 million foot scans, so I’m taking note. This women’s style is made for running and has support, the brand’s soft and bouncy cushioning, and breathable uppers. There’s even a 30-day trial, so if you don’t love them, you can return them.

Lululelmon Like a Cloud Bra

At just 32 percent off, the Like a Cloud Bra doesn’t boast the steepest discount on this list. But that’s because it sells so well, even at full price. Of all my sports bras, this is the softest (hence the name) and the most comfortable. I recently rocked mine on vacation in Tenerife where I wore it hiking, surfing, and even lounging by the pool. It’s just too pretty to not show off! It comes in six colors, and I have it in the gorgeous Cyan Blue, which I wear with my matching Cyan Blue Speed-Up Shorts ( also on sale ).

Lululemon Softstreme High-Rise Straight-Leg Cropped Pant

I still wear my Lululemon shorts I bought in 2009, a $40 bra I bought in 2012, and a pair of $118 Align High Rise Joggers ( the perfect travel pant IMHO ) I’ve worn to every continent in the last four years — trust me, these pieces last. These have the same Lulu quality I love, including the brand’s signature buttery soft fabric, four-way stretch, and they’re quick-drying, too.

Lululemon Softstreme Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew

We’re all looking for that comfy, cozy sweater to spend winter days in, the one that’s roomy but not too big and stylish enough to wear out of the house. Well, this sweater’s name says it all: “perfectly oversized.” The fact that it not only exists but is also in the We Made Too Much section is a Cyber Day miracle. Together with the Softstreme cropped pant they make the most airplane-ready matching set I’ve seen to date.

Lululemon Classic-Fit Cotton-Blend Dress

Confession: I don’t currently own Lululemon’s Classic-Fit Cotton-Blend Dress . But it reminds me of my favorite travel dress from Columbia Sportswear . Marked down to just $39, I think it’s a better price, too. One shopper who left a five-star rating calls it a “staple vacation dress that will match anything.” Another shopper who wore theirs on a trip and is hoping Lululemon comes out with more colors wrote, “Perfect in the hot sun. Casual dress but looks put together with cute sandals and a cardi or denim jacket.”

Lululemon Down for It All Vest

I love my Down for It All Jacket , so naturally I’m drawn to the Down for It All Vest , especially at this price. It comes in three colors, including a gorgeous blue , and is made of 100 percent responsibly sourced 700-fill-power goose down. In other words, it’s as lightweight as it is warm. “All the warmth without too much puff,” wrote one satisfied shopper who said it’s one of their favorite purchases of the year. And not only will it keep your core cozy, but it will also keep your valuables safe thanks to two zippered exterior pockets and a hidden phone sleeve.

Lululemon It’s Rulu Run Cropped 1⁄2 Zip

My Lululemon half zip saved the day once when I was wearing it in Cape Town while hiking in Table Mountain National Park, where the weather can change in an instant. It’s my favorite second layer, and while the It’s Rulu Run Cropped 1⁄2 Zip is more fitted, it boasts similar features like a zippered side pocket, thumb holes, and “cuffins.” It’s also made with the brand’s signature No-Stink Zinc, so you don’t need to worry about odor-causing bacteria. “Love the length, the design, and the color; great staple piece for all my outdoor adventures!” wrote one satisfied shopper who calls it perfect for a capsule wardrobe.

Lululemon Flow Y Bra

I’ve been a fan of the classic “buttery soft” Flow Y Bra for more than a decade. While it’s not the greatest bra for those who need a ton of support, it’s perfect for A, B, and C cups like me who want something weightless. In fact, one of its 1,200 five-star ratings reads, “These bras are so comfortable sometimes it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing them.” Another shopper (not me, I swear) left a review pretty much begging the brand to never stop making them.

Lululemon Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top

I paid full price for the Wunder Train Racerback Tank Top , which I got in Australia when I didn’t pack the right clothing. (I forgot that when it’s winter here, it’s summer there.) Even though I didn’t get it for more than 60 percent off, I have no regrets. I love that it’s cool to the touch, has a built-in shelf bra, and is made of the brand’s Everlux, Lululemon’s fastest-drying fabric. I wore it while exploring Capri’s Blue Grotto by boat. I definitely got wet, but by the time we were back at shore, I was completely dry and ready to go to lunch.

Lululemon Hold Tight Cropped Tank Top

Lululemon’s Hold Tight Cropped Tank Top , just $29 right now, is another one of my favorite tops. It’s made of a fabric “derived from responsibly sourced wood-based materials” and is definitely the softest cotton tank I own. In fact, one shopper who left a five-star rating says it’s so soft they sleep in it. Earlier this month I went to Costa Rica with just a carry-on, and this top easily made the cut. The only problem is another girl in my group also had it! But at least we had it in different colors. Currently, it’s available in 16 colors and sizes 0-20.

Lululemon Drawcord Hiking Cap

For hiking, consider the Drawcord Hiking Cap . At just $29 (originally $48), it’s a steal. Although it’s made of a durable ripstop fabric, it’s extremely lightweight and quick-drying. The mesh sweatband inside the brim is designed to wick moisture away, so you’ll never get sweat in your eyes, and the cinchable drawcord at the back allows for a customized fit. “This hat is flexible and roomy,” wrote one happy shopper who loves it for hiking and hot summer days.” It comes in two colors and sizes S/M and L/XL (most shoppers say it runs small).

Lululemon Men’s Metal Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirt

Science is on your side when you’re wearing the Metal Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirt , a best-seller ever since it debuted years ago. It’s made of 100-percent recycled polyester and features Lululemon’s signature Silverescent technology, which means you won’t stink even if you sweat up a storm. It’s also quick-drying and has minimal seams which make it ultra lightweight. Plus, it’s a confidence booster. “The new cut has a great fit at the chest and gives a bit of a lift to my pecs while providing a great, slim fit,” wrote one shopper. “The adjustment to the shoulders makes my traps pop out nicely. Frankly, I feel and look great when I wear it.”

Lululemon Men’s City Sweat Jogger

If you’ve never described a pair of sweats as sophisticated, it’s time to try Lululemon’s City Sweat Jogger . In addition to being super soft and stretchy, this stylish pant is more fitted than slouchy and features shape retention, so you don’t need to worry about saggy bottoms. It also has hand pockets with a secure phone sleeve and a hidden back pocket for keys. “They move with you perfectly,” wrote a shopper who admits they’re pricy but worth it. “You can wear them to the gym or for a casual day out.
