Madison man arrested in Downtown restaurant shooting that injured 2
A Madison man was arrested Thursday in an Oct. 27 shooting in a Downtown restaurant that injured two people.
Trayvon A. Jackson, 25, was arrested Thursday morning without incident at a home in Madison on tentative charges of first-degree attempted homicide, recklessly endangering safety, and felon in possession of a firearm.
Jackson's arrest came "through a series of investigative efforts," police spokesperson officer Stephanie Fryer said in a statement.
No additional details were released.
The shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at Sabores Fusion Grill, 449 State St., after a disturbance at the restaurant.
One man was critically injured in the shooting and one man sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. One was 28 and one was 31, but police haven't specified which suffered which injuries.
