A man has been found guilty of murdering a teenager after a five-week trial. Nineteen-year-old Kevin Pokuta died after he was shot on Page Hall Road in Sheffield in December. A jury at Sheffield Crown Court earlier found Jake Brown, 25, guilty of murder, attempted GBH, conspiracy to rob, and two firearm offences. He was cleared of a count of attempted murder. He stood trial alongside Leon Waite, 26, Lester Ramsey, 25, Adam Mulligan, 33, and a 17-year-old boy, who were all convicted of conspiracy to rob. Waite and Ramsey were acquitted of murder, attempted murder, attempted GBH and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in October. All apart from the 17-year-old were remanded into custody. They will all appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 16 December for sentencing.
