Hughesville, Pa. — A Hughesville man allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and threatened her with a handgun.

Dyllyn Dakota Laird, 26, of Hughesville entered the house on the 700 block of Hall Street through a window to avoid being captured by a camera on the front porch, state police said. According to investigators, Lair left after realizing the victim had called police.

Laird allegedly broke into the residence shortly before 2 a.m. on Nov. 11, Trooper Julio Sura said. Once there, Laird allegedly brandished a firearm as he threatened a victim. The woman claimed Laird, who the victim filed a PFA against, does not have permission to be inside her home.

Sura viewed the window Laird used to get inside the house, according to the complaint.

Laird is being charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and terroristic threats. He is being held at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 monetary bail.
