Man dead after being hit by car in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead after he was hit by a car in north Phoenix on Friday night.

Phoenix police were called to Cave Creek and Bell Roads around 11 p.m., where officers found a man who was seriously injured.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he died. He has not been identified. Police say the vehicle involved stayed at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
