Man dies from injuries after being attacked by dogs in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after a man died from his injuries following an attack by multiple dogs that also left a woman injured.
The incident was reported just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of E. 80th Street.

Officers were sent to the scene on an active animal bite call where a male victim was being attacked by the dogs. When officers arrived at the scene, the dogs ran off.
The female victim contacted officers where they discovered that she had been injured as well.
Both victims were taken to the hospital where the male victim was reported to have life-threatening injuries and the female victim had sustained serious bite injuries to her extremities.
KCPD investigators learned on Wednesday that the male victim had died from his injuries and the case is now being classified as a death investigation.
