A man is feared dead following a tragedy at a wind-farm in Rokewood, Victoria, 132km west of Melbourne . Emergency services responded to an incident in about 8.15am after a person was injured by the blade of a wind turbine. It's understood the man was crushed by the blade at the Golden Plains Wind Farm in Rokewood about 8am. Footage from 7News shows three turbines, with two appearing to be held up by a metal structure. The third blade appears to have fallen from the structure holding it up. There is also a crumpled ladder on the ground next to a large blade. Several emergency service vehicles, including an ambulance, a firetruck and police were seen at the site. Workers in high-vis clothing and hard hats were at the scene, along with police, paramedics and SES volunteers. Aerial images of the scene also show a large area cordoned off with police tape. Wind turbine blades can weigh up to 22 tonnes. The wind farm has been closed while investigations into the accident continue. This is a breaking story. More to come.
