Man pleads guilty to 2020 arson causing death of two people

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock man plead guilty Friday morning to an arson that caused the death of two people in May 2020 . The murder charge against 40-year-old Todd Miller has been dismissed as part of the plea agreement. Miller was sentenced to 20 years in prison with more than four years of jail credit. On May 31, 2020, Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a fire at the River Oaks Apartment complex. LFR reported 16 apartment units were affected by the fire.
