Man Utd transfer boost as Juventus 'decide to sell Federico Chiesa' with winger 'not part of manager's project'

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly been handed a huge transfer boost with Juventus ready to sell Federico Chiesa.

The Italy star managed nine goals and two assists in 33 games this season.

But his £150,000-a-week contract expires next year.

And Fabrizio Romano claims Chiesa is not in the plans of new manager Thiago Motta.

He is instead hoping to land a new winger once Juventus complete a hat-trick of midfield signings.

And it's reckoned Chiesa could be available for as little as £20million.

Newcastle and Tottenham are long-term admirers of the 26-year-old, who joined Juve from Fiorentina in 2020 for £50m.

But United could be in the driving seat for Chiesa as they hunt for a new wide forward.

Jadon Sancho is expected to leave Old Trafford after Erik ten Hag penned a new deal.

While United could listen to offers for £86m flop Antony.

Mason Greenwood is another who will go after his Getafe loan spell.

Juventus are keen on bringing him to Turin , and United may decide to use Greenwood as bait in exchange for Chiesa.

It's all change at the Bianconeri this summer, with Motta replacing five-time title winner Max Allegri after leading Bologna to the Champions League.

He has already splashed out on Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz, paying cash while also handing over Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior.

Atalanta ace Tenu Koopmeiners looks to be the next midfielder joining Juventus.

While Nice's Khephren Thuram will replace out-of-contract Adrien Rabiot in the heart of the park.
