Margery Doris Agard Forrest Obituary
A long time resident of Concord, Midge was the daughter of M. Henry and Molly Agard of Palo Alto. A fourth generation native Californian, Midge passed away on September 27, 2024 from complications of dementia and strokes at her grandaughter's home, where she had lived the last four years.
Midge was the mother to Charles R. Mould (Joni) and JoAnn Meyer, and the late Christopher S. Mould and Gary H. Mould. She had seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was the youngest and last sister of Dorothy (Dolly) Herrick, Barbara Kaiser, and Henry Agard.
Midge traveled the world (well part of the world) with her Aunt Bobby and their adventures were epic.
Midge retired from Pacific Telesis (Pac Bell/AT&T) and was then a member of the VIPS at the Concord Police Department for over fourteen years, before retiring at ninety. She loved her time with the other VIPS and Police Department employees that became friends. She also enjoyed the Thursday night market and music at Todos Santos Park and the friends she made there.
Midge celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise party and a special day at an Oakland Athletics game, where she was the center of attention. Anyone that met Midge remembered her for her crazy sense of humor and quick wit.
At her request, no services were held.
Please consider making a donation in her honor to the Hospice East Bay. (hospiceeastbay.org)
