Margot Lewis, woman at center of murder investigation, expected to make court appearance in Olmsted County Friday

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The woman at the center of a murder investigation involving multiple Minnesota agencies is expected to make an appearance in Olmsted County court.

Margot Lewis, 32, is expected to go before a judge for an initial appearance on a felony charge of interference with a dead body or scene of death.

She is also facing second degree murder charges in Hennepin County and is charged in the death of music producer and DJ Liara Tsai, 35.

The body the Minneapolis woman was found almost two weeks ago in the back seat of a car involved in an accident along I-90 near Eyota.

Lewis, who was driving the car before the crash, was found sitting in the median, near the accident scene.

Lewis is scheduled to make an online appearance before Judge Debra Jacobson at 9:15 a.m. Friday.
