Medina Police investigating stabbing in the canal basin

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Medina Police Department is investigating a stabbing that took place in the canal basin overnight Saturday.
Police are asking business owners with cameras in the downtown area to reach out and speak to an officer at (585) 589-5527.
Anyone who witnessed the stabbing or who has information about the incident is also asked to reach out to the Medina Police Department.
MPD has yet to release further information about the stabbing. Police have not elaborated on the condition of the victim or the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.
