Sports Michael Jordan's $2 Million Mystery Car Revealed With Insane Features

Basketball legend and NASCAR team co-owner Michael Jordan has been confirmed as the proud owner of a $2 million Italian sports car, the Pininfarina Battista Targamerica. Known for his lavish taste and penchant for exclusivity, Jordan's latest acquisition adds yet another jewel to his already incredible car collection.

Unveiled at the Monterey Car Week in mid-August , the Pininfarina Battista Targamerica is a masterpiece of automotive craftsmanship. With its sleek silver-and-blue exterior and a plush tan interior, the hypercar reflects the brilliance of its new owner. A big feature, mirroring Jordan's notorious love for cigars, is a custom aluminum cigar holder and humidor nestled between the front seats. Such personalized touches speak volumes to his discerning eye for detail and luxury, and of course, its huge price tag.

From a technical viewpoint, the car leaves little to be desired. Boasting an astounding 1,900 horsepower and 2,340Nm of torque from a four-motor all-electric powertrain, the Battista Targamerica isn't just about aesthetics; it's a powerhouse, designed to deliver exhilarating performance at the touch of a pedal. This one-off creation from the Italian design house Pininfarina makes it the only model of its kind - something that unsurprisingly appeals to elite collectors like Jordan.

Jordan's love for high-end vehicles is well-documented. Earlier this year, he spent a whopping $3.5 million on the rare American hypercar, the Venom F5 Roadster. And during his basketball career, he often turned heads by arriving at games in some of the most coveted vehicles in the world. The man knows his cars.

And the knowledge he's built up around the automotive world due to this strong history behind the wheel puts him in good stead when it comes to his current day job as co-owner of the team 23XI Racing. The team, alongside Front-Row Motorsports, is suing NASCAR, filing an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR and CEO Jim France.

In a press release, previously reported by Newsweek Sports , Jordan said the following:

"Everyone knows that I have always been a fierce competitor, and that will to win is what drives me and the entire 23XI team each and every week out on the track. I love the sport of racing and the passion of our fans, but the way NASCAR is run today is unfair to teams, drivers, sponsors, and fans.

"Today's action shows I'm willing to fight for a competitive market where everyone wins."

Denny Hamlin, his business partner in this venture, added:

"It's actually pretty simple in my opinion. When I look around, I see that the best and most competitive sports in the world understand that when teams thrive, fans benefit, and that everyone who invests in making the sport a success should share fairly in that success. With the right changes, we can certainly make that a reality in racing."
