Michelle Keegan 's bank balance ballooned by a whooping £750,000 last year after landing the lead role in Netflix 's global number one hit Fool Me Once.

And now the former Coronation Street actress is being lined up for another lucrative Netflix role after impressing TV bosses in the Harlan Coben adaptation.

The American novelist tells the Mail he is keen to work with the 37-year-old actress again as the 'audience love her'.

Mr Coben said: 'We'd love to get Michelle back. I think what Michelle has, besides tremendous talent and all the other stuff, is a genuine authenticity.'

'I think people, the audience loves her, people want to follow her life, because they sense that there's a kindness and a gentleness. And that's really her, she's truly authentic.'

It will be welcome news for Keegan, whose production company Rosia Promotions had a bumper year in 2023 after signing her Netflix deal with her assets rising from £2.85m to £3.6m - a £750,000 rise according to filings with Companies House.

A further big payout is expected this year after Fool Me Once, which was released in January, was watched by 108m viewers globally making it the streamer's most watched programme so far in 2024 beating the likes of Bridgerton and Baby Reindeer.

Keegan starred as Maya Stern, a widow whose husband Joe appeared to come back from the dead, and featured Joanna Lumley as her overbearing mother-in-law.

The chart-topper was the streamer's eighth Coben adaptation under a multi million pound deal with Netflix that will see at least two more thrillers, Missing You and Run Away, stream on the platform in the next year.

Coben's novels are set in the US but in his adaptations he relocated tem to the UK with mostly British talent.

The author has made a habit of using his favourite actors repeatedly.

Missing You, which will be released next year, will star Richard Armitage in his fourth Coben adaptation and James Nesbitt for the second time.

Michelle, who has been married to Mark Wright since 2015, seems to have already spent some of her new fortune .

The couple recently shared a look of the latest update to their Essex mansion after giving their living room a makeover.

They completely renovated their £3.5million home back in 2019 and have been sharing the incredible updates on an Instagram account ever since.

Their latest project has been shared on the home account's story, revealing a neutrally-decorated living space with modern furnishings and a large TV screen.

The bright room includes a huge bay window which lets in a huge amount of light to the stunning space in their home.

A cream sofa covered in plush cushions and faux fur blankets is positioned in front of the TV screen and stone coffee table.

Other eating options in the room also include two cup chairs in the centre of the room and two positioned between a table by the window.

The centerpiece of the room was a statement bubble style ceiling light, while other accessories include plants, candles and books.

Wright and Keegan revealed the sofa and chairs were from a bespoke furniture company called Misura, who had previously made other pieces for their home.
